Winter Break : Understanding Plants

Are you looking for something fun to do during your winter break? Come have some fun with us via Zoom February 22- 24 at 9:00 am as we make some old-time toys and learn about the “science” behind them. On the third day, we will be making a cool piece of artwork with buttons as we learn about trees and the important role that leaves play. Hope to see you there. All ages welcome.

Understanding Plants
Materials Needed:
Brown marker/crayon
1 piece of cardboard 8” x 12”
1 bottle of elmer’s glue
50-80 buttons (different colors and different sizes)
Or
1 sheet of red, orange, AND green construction paper
1 sheet of white construction paper
2 sheets of black construction paper.
1 scissor
1 glue stick
