Tai Chi for Beginners

The library is happy to partner with Nina Zeldin of Healthy Acadia for this 8-week Tai Chi for Beginners workshop! Comprised of qigong and Yang style mind-body movements, this Tai Chi for Health Institute program is a gentle but strong foundation for better health and wellbeing for all ages.
Healthy Acadia’s Tai Chi courses help empower people to improve their health and wellbeing through slow, smooth, and continuous mind-body exercises.
These gentle movements can help alleviate pain, reduce stress, increase strength, flexibility and balance, and improve cognitive function and coordination.
