Here’s a quick interview with the Ellsworth Public Library’s new director, Sarah Lesko!
Where are you originally from?
Conway, Arkansas.
Where was your previous library and what was your job position?
At the Saline County Library in Saline County, Arkansas. I was the Youth Services Manager with a staff of 8 youth services librarians.
What are you looking forward to the most about working at the Ellsworth Public Library?
I love everything about working in a library, but I am most looking forward to getting to know the staff and the community. I’m a people person and I’m all about making the library the center of the community.
Do you have a favorite author, or genre?
My favorite author, overall, would be Roald Dahl. I love all Roald Dahl books and his quirky dark sense of humor. My overall favorite genre would be fantasy; high, modern, magical realism, I enjoy them all!
